A Perth cocktail photography library built for ongoing promotion
T.O.T.O needed cocktail photography that could hold attention in a crowded Perth hospitality feed. The venue sits in the centre of Perth near the Duxton Hotel, so the images had to feel polished enough for a premium night out while still being practical for everyday promotion.
The shoot focused on contrast, colour, and texture. Black backgrounds kept the drinks feeling refined, while foam, citrus, flowers, spice rims, glassware, and bottle service details gave each frame a clear point of interest. That balance matters for cocktail bars because customers often decide from a small image whether the venue feels like the right kind of night.
Cocktail photography also depends on controlling what polished glass and liquid surfaces reflect. The lighting had to shape each glass without creating distracting hotspots, keep translucent colours accurate, and hold fine details such as bubbles, foam, ice, spice, and condensation. Hand interaction and whisky-pour frames then added service and movement without losing the dark, premium visual direction.
The final image set gives T.O.T.O a compact but flexible drinks library. The hero images can support venue promotion, the close-ups can carry Instagram posts and stories, and the whisky service frames add a premium layer beyond the standard cocktail menu.
