Rollout Context
Why the project matters beyond launch
Uai Mate needed more than a few good food photos before launch. The brand was entering a competitive Scarborough market with a Brazilian street food concept that most local customers had never tried, so the imagery had to do the explaining.
For food trucks and mobile catering businesses, the visual identity often has to carry more weight than it would for a bricks-and-mortar restaurant. There is no shop fit-out, no signage wall, and no ambient dining experience to lean on. The food photography and the menu are the brand.
This shoot focused on building that foundation. Each core menu item was photographed as a standalone hero and as part of a wider spread, giving the business flexibility across Instagram, delivery platforms, market signage, and catering proposals. The menu design brought those images together with clear pricing and descriptions into a layout that matched the energy of the food itself.
The result is a launch-ready visual package that gives Uai Mate a more credible and consistent presence wherever customers find the brand, whether that is at a Scarborough market, on a delivery app, or through a catering enquiry on Instagram.
